ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS

NOTE: OUR DELIVERY SCHEDULE MAY DEPEND ON THE QUALITY OF THE ARTWORK SUBMITTED. The quality of your artwork determines the quality of the imprint. Fonts should be converted to outlines or rasterized. If you do not have suitable production ready copy (see requirements below) or have special needs, our art department can create or modify imprints to your specifications at very competitive rates. Artwork is kept on file for a two year period. If it has been more than two years since your last order, new artwork is required.

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS
Imprint artwork is required in a production ready form sized in the proper proportions to fit the designated imprint area (the maximum imprint dimensions are specified on the product page). Please forward your artwork in one of the following forms:

ACCEPTABLE FORMATS FOR ELECTRONIC ART

Vector Art:

1. PDF (preferred format)
2. EPS
3. Adobe Illustrator – AI
   Version 10, or higher
4. CorelDRAW – CDR
   Version 10, or higher

Note: These formats are also acceptable for art that contains both raster/bitmap art and vector art in the same graphics file. All files must be created in approved professional graphics software. Files saved without vector data or from unapproved software are not considered Production Ready Artwork.

Raster Art (bitmaps):

1. PDF at final imprint size
2. TIFF at final imprint size

Unacceptable Formats for Electronic Art PowerPoint Word Excel Publisher JPEG GIF WMF Scans of logo, letterhead or business cards Page layout files (Quark, PageMaker, InDesign) The above formats explicitly do not comply with Production Ready Art Standards and if submitted, will incur cleanup charges. This is not a comprehensive list, rather a list of the most common unacceptable formats

Approved Professional Graphics Software Preferred professional graphics software: Adobe Illustrator CS3 CorelDRAW X3 Acceptable professional graphics software: Adobe Ilustrator - Version 10, or higher CorelDRAW - Version 10 , or higher The Production Ready Artwork committee will announce when the next version of software is recommended and provide a minimum 3 months notice before it becomes a requirement to maintain certification.

If your artwork is in another form, call us to discuss your preferred file format.

Artwork Revisions - If artwork revisions are required, we will advise you of additional charges before proceeding with your order. Artwork revisions are billed at a rate of $75.00 per hour with a $15.00 (z) minimum charge.

MISCELLANEOUS CHARGES:
The following optional services are available at the rates indicated:

• Production Proof - $50.00(z)  per color + the cost of the screen(s) + the cost of the ware. Fees payable in advance unless you have special terms.
• Special Colors - $25.00(z)
• PMS Match - $50.00(z) per color on your initial order only.
• Typesetting Charges - $15.00 per item.
